Why Gunite

Gunite is the strongest way to build a residential pool. It's steel reinforced concrete shot into place, which means it can take any shape you want and it isn't limited to whatever molds a manufacturer happens to sell.

It also lasts. A properly built gunite shell will outlive a vinyl liner pool several times over, and when the finish eventually wears down after a couple of decades you resurface it instead of replacing the whole thing.

In West Texas soil that structural strength matters more than it does in most markets. Ground movement here will find every weakness in a poorly built pool

Tanning Ledges and Benches A shallow shelf for lounge chairs and small kids is one of the most used features in any pool we build. Add a bench seat and you've got somewhere to sit with a drink.

Water and Fire Features Sheer descents, bubblers, raised walls with scuppers and fire bowls. Pick one or two and place them well rather than scattering six around the deck.

Lighting and Automation Color LED lighting and app controlled equipment so you can heat the spa on the drive home from work.

How Long Does A Pool Take To Build?

Most custom builds run eight to twelve weeks from dig to swim, depending on size, weather, permit timing and how quickly finish selections get made. Rain delays and inspection scheduling are the usual variables. We'll give you a realistic timeline up front instead of an optimistic one.
