About Pina Pools

Fifty Years, One Owner, One Crew

Hector Pina has been building swimming pools for over fifty years. He started in the trade as a young man, learned gunite the hard way on other people's crews, and eventually decided he'd rather do it right than do it fast.

Pina Pools is owner operated. That's not a marketing line. Hector is on the job site, he's the one who answers the phone, and he's the one you'll deal with if something needs to be made right. A lot of pool companies in this market are three salesmen and a rotating cast of subs. We're not built that way.

What We Do

Built by hand. Built to last.

We handle new construction, remodeling and repair for gunite pools, spas and decks. New builds start with an empty yard and end with a finished pool, deck and equipment pad. Remodels take a pool that's twenty or thirty years old and give it another few decades. Repairs get diagnosed by someone who knows what's behind the shell.

We don't try to be everything. We build, remodel and repair. That focus is why the work holds up.

Built For The Permian Basin

Anybody can build a pool in a mild climate. Out here you're dealing with caliche, expansive clay in spots, hard water that eats plaster, hundred degree summers and the occasional hard freeze that catches everyone off guard.

Fifty years in this specific market means we know which finishes survive our water, how deep the beam needs to be in our soil, and how to plumb equipment so a February freeze doesn't crack it. That knowledge doesn't come from a manufacturer's manual.

Where We Work

We serve Odessa, Midland, Andrews, Big Spring and the towns in between, including Gardendale, Goldsmith, Penwell, West Odessa, Greenwood, Stanton, Monahans and Crane.

How We Work With You

We give free on-site estimates because you can't price a pool from a phone call. We show up, we look at the yard, and we tell you what's realistic.

We quote honestly. If your budget doesn't match your plan, we'll tell you before you spend money, not halfway through the dig. And if there's a cheaper way to get you most of what you want, we'll show you that too.

If financing makes sense, we're a Lyon Financial dealer and you can get pre-approved online before we ever meet.

Our Word

We do what we say we're going to do. We show up when we said we would. And when the pool is finished, we're still here, because in a town this size your reputation is the only marketing that matters.
